How to Delete Your Account
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from The Hotel Price, please follow the steps below.
Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account:
- Send an email to: info@thehotelprice.com
- Subject line: "Delete My Account"
- Include your registered phone number in the email
- Specify your user type: Customer, Delivery Partner, or Restaurant Owner
Our team will process your request and confirm deletion via email within 30 days.
Data Deletion Policy
When you request account deletion, the following data will be handled as described:
Data That Will Be Deleted (Within 30 Days)
- Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address
- Delivery Addresses: All saved delivery locations
- Location Data: GPS tracking data and location history
- Payment Information: Payment method details (if stored)
- Account Credentials: Login information and authentication data
- Profile Data: Profile pictures and preferences
Data That Will Be Anonymized
- Order History: Order records will be anonymized (personal identifiers removed) and retained for business records, tax compliance, and analytics purposes
- Transaction Records: Financial transaction data will be anonymized and retained as required by law
Data Retention Period
Some data may be retained for legal and business purposes:
- Transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Anonymized analytics data: May be retained indefinitely for business intelligence
- Backup systems: Data may persist in backups for up to 90 days after deletion
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all order history, saved addresses, and preferences
- Any pending orders must be completed before account deletion
- Outstanding payments or refunds will be processed before deletion
- Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
Alternative: Temporary Deactivation
If you're not sure about permanent deletion, you can simply stop using the app. Your account will remain inactive, and you can return anytime. We automatically delete inactive accounts after 2 years of no activity.
